Dr. Paul Gosling
I have more than 15 years experience in a specialist dental practice, as a Periodontist. This includes all facets of periodontics and dental implants.
My initial qualification was Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Sydney (1993). I started general practice in 1994 as a Captain Dental Officer (RAADC), Australian Regular Army.
Following the years in the Army, I had an adventurous year as a GP dentist working in the remote subarctic NWT of Canada, subsequently followed by GP private general practice in the Northern Rivers of NSW, Darwin, Brisbane and Sydney.
I completed the primary and final RACDS examinations - gaining fellowship FRACDS (general dentistry) in 2001.
Over the 8 years practising as a GP dentist, I developed a keen interest in the field of periodontics and implant dentistry. I was fortunate to be selected for a 3 year FT specialist periodontal training program at the University of Queensland (starting in 2002). This qualification allowed registration as a specialist Periodontist in 2004.
In 2005, I started as a new qualified Periodontist in Neutral Bay in Sydney. During this year, I relocated to Canberra. In 2006, I moved to join Dr Scott Parsons and Dr Richard Evans at Capital Periodontics in Turner, ACT. I practiced here for 10 years - until this practice was sold to a Corporation from NZ, Abano.
In 2015, I opened my own independent specialist periodontal practice in Woden, Canberra.
